SERVICE files for ALL Offices are in a new location
Because all office employees within the Service division are members of the ‘Service’ security group, you should have the ‘Service on HOU-FT-FILE’ or ‘V: drive’ already mapped in your Windows file explorer (with ‘This PC’ expanded as shown below).
Last night @ midnight, you may have received an invitation to view these files on Sharepoint. Please disregard and do not use that link. The V: drive is the only centralized location of service files moving forward. When moved into Azure next weekend, your V: drive will point there automatically. If you don’t see the V: drive, please reboot your computer. If you still don’t see it, here are instructions on how to manually map it until the group policy pushes to your machine(s):
1) Launch Windows File Explorer
2) Right-click on This PC
3) Left-click on Map network drive…
4) Select V: as the drive letter
5) Type \\hou-ft-file\service\
6) Click Finish
